Sir Knights of the Fourth Degree, deem it an honor and privilege to carry our TRIAD EMBLEM, which features The Dove, The Cross, and The Globe. Our Honored Order cherishes as its Patron, Christopher Columbus.

Spiritually, the sacred symbols fashioned on our sword and lapel pin, typify the union of the Three Divine Persons in one Godhead The Most Holy Trinity.

  • The Globe God the Father, Creator of the Universe.
  • The Cross God the Son, Redeemer of Mankind.
  • The Dove God the Holy Spirit, Sanctifier of Humanity.

Knights of Columbus Mexican Martyrs.

Knights of Columbus Mexican Martyrs.  During May 2006 at Saint Anne Church in Santa Ana and the Cathedral of Los Angeles an estimated twelve thousand worshipers knelt to pray before the saintly relics of six priests' Mexican Martyrs.

Supreme Master Joseph Shultz and Master Bernie Gardner lead the procession of the relics into the Cathedral of Los Angeles Cathedral at the 12:30 PM Mass along with over one hundred members of the 4th Degree.  Members of the Southern California 4th Degree Color Corp under the direction of District Marshall Bobby Velasquez stood guard during the benediction of the relics that took place over three days.

The relics, fragments of the remains of the six priests, left Mexico City in September 2005 and are traveling to major American cities before being taken to Orlando, Florida, for the Knights' 124th Supreme Convention in August2006. These men and many thousands more, paid the ultimate sacrifice for their Catholic faith during the 1920s and 1930s.
